101 Book Review

...my goodness hasn't she grown since I saw her last!

He said to her with a big wink as he ruffled the top of her hair, "Well well well, what happened to the little Suzana I used to know?"
Aside to Lucrezia with mock seriousness, "What a fine young lady this is!"
Back to Suzana, "And how many admirers do you have at school now?"

Suzana said with a shy smile, "None yet."

Lucrezia added, "Nope, and that is because she spends too much time with her little nose buried in books she shouldn't even know about yet!"
Turning to Suzana, Lucs said, "Tell Gabi what you're reading at the moment."

Her face brightened.
"Oh yes: Mrs Dalloway. Lucs, your name is in there and it's the second time I've ever seen it. My Mum said that your Mum was reading that book when she had you, and that's why you got the name?"

Lucrezia nodded, rolled her eyes, and said that all her siblings had novel names thanks to her Mum's reading habits.

Gabi laughed and suggested they go round the corner to the tuck shop for some sweet treats before dinner...
